Hello! I am duel licensed in California and New Mexico as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I am also a designated Clinical Supervisor and Licensed CEU Provider. I completed my Masters of Arts in Clinical Counseling and am continuing my education in a PhD program studying Counselor Education. I have close to 10 years experience working with clients in different capacities experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and life changes. With a focus in attachment, trauma, communication, and cognitive challenging, I work to help clients meet their goals and better understand their experiences. I use an integrated Adlerian approach, using multiple theoretical modalities and interventions to meet clients where they are and remain open and engaged in allowing clients to guide their therapy. By using cognitive, somatic, and narrative approaches I find that clients are better able to process their emotions and experiences more fully. I see my role in the therapeutic relationship as one who can offer an alternative perspective and provide support so that my clients may live authentically and truthfully. It is my hope that our work together is beneficial and provides insight.
In what little free time I have between work and school, I enjoy spending time with my fur babies (2 dogs and 4 cats!), fostering animals with the city, and exploring coffee shops and restaurants.
